I have a dream!

I have a dream that this nation will forget the meaning of its creed: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal.”

I have a dream that the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will never be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood.

I have a dream that little black boys and black girls will be forbidden to join hands with little white boys and white girls as sisters and brothers.

I have a dream that our children will live in a nation where they will be judged by the color of their skin, their gender and sexual preferences and not by the content of their character.

I have a dream that hatred and violence will keep me in power forever, and that the people will never rise up again as they did on January 6th.
